Allergen Management
Stahmann Farms Enterprises (SFE) is dedicated to its core business of tree-nut processing. SFE will not knowingly introduce other potential allergenic substances that may adversely affect our various stakeholders.
Any potential ingredient used by Stahmann Farms must comply with SFE’s detailed HACCP and Food Safety requirements. SFE’s products adhere to the FSANZ Food Standards Code and the requirements of Codex Alimentarius.
Stahmann Farms train all staff in appropriate good manufacturing practices (GMP) and strive to create a culture and awareness within the organisation to ensure that cross contamination and allergen risks do not affect our stakeholders.
SFE has staff from its technical and processing departments who have been appropriately trained in allergen management, cross contamination issues and labelling requirements. These staff are responsible for overseeing processing and cleaning operations to ensure product safety.
SFE staff have also been trained in Voluntary Incidental Trace Allergen Labelling (VITAL) and apply this tool to ensure correct labelling decisions are made.
