Harvest Celebrations! Fairview on Trawalla Pecan Festival
This year we're celebrating harvest early with a long lunch in the Pecan Grove at Moree in northern NSW on Saturday March 31st. Whilst harvest itself won't get underway until April, we're making the most of our trees at their spectacular Autumn best to put on a fabulous afternoon of feasting and merriment at Trawalla.
We are most honoured to have as special guests International Chef, Michael Dean, from Black Pearl Epicure in Brisbane to present his very own pecan-inspired menu, featuring the best of regional produce, as well as respected Art Critic and Investment Advisor, Ralph Hobbs, from Art Equity in Sydney who will share his inside knowledge of the comtemporary Australian art scene.
The event commences at noon and concludes at sunset. Tickets are $70 per person, which includes Michael's sumptuos five-course repast alongside an informative and entertaining afternoon in one of the region's most strikingly bucolic locations. All proceeds of the event go towards funding a total redevelopment of the Fairview Nursing Home at Moree, for which $14M must be raised in the coming years.
