Pecan Orange Biscuits


Ingredients

  • 120g unsalted butter

  • 100g caster sugar

  • 1 egg

  • 100g finely chopped pecans

  • 75g plain flour

  • 50g cornflour

  • 1 tspn grated orange rind

  • Extra pecan halves

Method

Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg and beat well. Fold in pecans with sifted flours and orange rind. Roll mixture into balls and place well apart on oven trays. Press a pecan half into the top of each biscuit and bake in a preheated moderate oven for about 15 minutes or until light brown. Cool on a wire rack.
